Maria Murphy brings more than 30 years of tax and accounting experience to her role as Payroll Processor at Hilltop Wealth & Tax Solutions. With a background in payroll, accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, account reconciliations, and asset management, Maria is known for bringing careful attention to detail to every task. Her path into accounting came naturally; she always enjoyed math, and over time, that strength grew into a career built around helping clients stay organized and informed.

At Hilltop, Maria primarily focuses on processing payroll and supporting clients with a professional, friendly, and clear approach. She understands how overwhelming payroll and accounting details can feel, especially for small business owners, and she works to make the process as smooth as possible. Outside of work, Maria enjoys reading, puzzles, and spending time outdoors. She is originally from South Bend, spent 10 years living in Arizona, and later returned home. Maria has been married for 28 years with one son.
