The Mission Behind Hilltop Kids
In 2022, Hilltop Wealth & Tax Solutions realized a long-term goal of launching our own 501c3 organization, Hilltop Kids, enabling us to expand our community presence. At Hilltop Kids, our goal is simple—support programs that improve the health, development, and future of children in our communities. Since our launch, we’ve steadily expanded our reach through targeted giving and continued donor support.
2025 Highlights
Investing in the next generation of child-focused leaders
Launched in 2024, the Hilltop Kids Scholarship awards $1,500 each to four graduating seniors who intend to pursue a degree in a child-centered field, such as education, psychology, healthcare, or child advocacy. The program is funded entirely through community donations and reflects the generosity of Hilltop clients, team members, and local supporters who believe in investing in the future.

Expanding Our Reach
With increased donor participation, we were able to continue our support of returning partners and expand to new organizations, including:
St. Margaret’s House
Madison STEAM Academy
Royal Oak Children’s Choir
In addition, 2024 marked the official launch of the Hilltop Kids Scholarship Program, with $4,500 in funding committed to support graduating seniors pursuing degrees in childhood development or child safety-related fields.

Laying the Foundation
In our first full year of giving, Hilltop Kids awarded contributions to three mission-aligned nonprofit organizations:
St. Margaret’s House
Orchards Children’s Services
Madison STEAM Academy / Yellow Cat Christmas
These contributions helped each organization further its work supporting children and families through education, basic needs assistance, and community engagement.

Hilltop Wealth Solutions and HILLTOP Kids are under common control. HILLTOP Kids is a 501(c)(3) status entity with the IRS. HILLTOP Kids serves to collect donations to be used for at-risk youth programs. Hilltop Wealth Solutions may have an economic incentive to favor clients who donate to HILLTOP Kids. However, Hilltop Wealth Solutions maintains policies, procedures, and controls to routinely monitor these conflicts to help ensure that clients are treated fairly and equitably.
